Earlier on, Legit.ng reported the news of how veteran actor Pete Edochie stated that any man who kneels down to propose to a woman is a fool.
Explaining his reasons, he stated that it is a borrowed practice from the western countries. Following the massive reactions his remarks got, his son and fellow actor Yul Edochie who remained quiet throughout the social media arguments, has finally reacted and it is hilarious.
As is common with viral topics, people often make memes and this was no different. Yul took to his Twitter platform to share a hilarious meme about the marriage proposal remarks. In the photo, a man is seen looking hesitant at a rather intimidating Pete Edochie.
The meme reads: "When you are about to kneel down to propose and you see Pete Edochie behind you." Yul shared the post with laughing emojis. See post below: In similar news, marriage in an African society used to be clearly defined with men and women knowing their roles in the home.
However, enlightenment and education have led to many people shedding many of these old traditions and discriminatory practices. The general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, is known for giving advice to his followers and this does not exclude young ladies and men. In a new post shared on the man of God’s Instagram page, he spoke on what he feels is an important thing for a young man to look out for before getting married to a lady.
He said men should not get married to women who cannot cook nor do chores because they cannot always be eating outside.
