Robert Pattinson Opens Up About Choosing To Star In Upcoming ‘Batman’ Movie And More In New Interview!!
Furthermore, in the interview he gave the publication, Rob discussed portraying the comic book hero.
As fans know, at this point, the production has been postponed because of the coronavirus, COVID-19 pandemic and while the star would rather get back out there and shoot the film, he’s waiting patiently.
Not to mention that the great pictures featured in the magazine, including the cover, were all self-shot by Pattinson himself in a London Airbnb!
He also styled his own outfits as well, with just a little virtual guidance from GQ’s team.
The interview itself, happened via FaceTime and the actor described it as ‘hilarious.’
When asked about his decision to take on the iconic role, Robert explained that: ‘I was thinking, it is fun when more and more ground’s been covered. Like, where’s the gap?…And the puzzle of it becomes pretty satisfying, to think: Where is my opening?…And then also, it is a legacy part, right? I like that. There are few things in life that people passionately care about before it has even happened. You can nearly feel that pushback of anticipation, and so it sort of energizes you a bit.’
‘It’s different from when you are doing a part and there is a possibility that no one will even see it. Right? In some ways it’s…. It makes you a little kind of spicy,’ he went on to also dish.
At some point, he opened up about his physical shape too since he has to look very athletic and muscular for his role.
So, as it turns out, despite the production being put on hold, he’s been following his meal plan and working out at home.
