According to a report from UPI.com, Lady Gaga is really disappointed after she had to cancel one of her shows in Las Vegas due to sickness. The 33-year-old actress and singer wasn’t able to perform for her Enigma residency at the Park Theater at Park MGM after she caught a sinus infection as well as bronchitis.
On Twitter, the singer/songwriter shared a photo in which she was using a ventilator while sitting with an IV in one of her arms. Lady Gaga wrote on her account that she was “devastated” that she had to cancel her show, but she came down with the aforementioned illnesses and is too sick to perform.
“I’m just too weak and ill to perform tonight,” the A Star Is Born alum explained. Speaking with her fans, she wrote, “I love you little monsters,” and went on to say that she’d make it up to them, “I promise,” the star remarked.
On Wednesday, Park MGM confirmed the news that Lady Gaga would perform on Friday instead. The venue announced her cancelation on Thursday night due to her sinus infection and bronchitis. The post read that she would take the stage, however, on the 8th of November.
This wouldn’t be the first time Lady Gaga has been hurt or sick in the last few months. Last month, in October, she tumbled offstage alongside a fan. Later, she shared an X-ray image and told her fans that she’d be just fine.
As it was previously reported, Lady Gaga just got finished creating her new makeup line, Haus Laboratories, back in September. In an interview with Oprah for Elle, the star stated it was very important for her to include nearly everyone.
Moreover, in the same interview with Oprah Winfrey for Elle, Lady Gaga shared what her mission was as an artist: to spread love and kindness to the world.
During the chat with the media mogul, Germanotta, 33, explained that she realized a long time ago that being kind to others was one of the best things that someone could do.
