Ms. Katie Holmes enjoyed time with her daughter over the holidays, Suri, whom she shares with Hollywood star, Tom Cruise. According to Us Weekly, while Katie hung around her boyfriend of several years, Jamie Foxx, in Miami, Suri was getting ready to pack her things for a ski trip with her mother.

The 40-year-old star took to her Instagram on Monday on the 31st of December to share a “Happy New Year” message for her fans and followers, as well as a photo in which she posed with her 12-year-old daughter. Moreover, the star shared a picture of her former co-star on the show that made her famous, Dawson’s Creek. The star posed alongside Mary-Margaret Humes, who played the mother of James Van Der Beek on the series.

Holmes wrote on her account, “What a gift to share some wine and laughter with my dear friend.” This came just a week after Humes was hanging out with James Van Der Beek, his partner, Kimberly, and their 5 kids.

As it was previously reported, Holmes spent a few days with her boyfriend of five years aboard his $8 million yacht in Miami, Florida. Us Weekly revealed back in March of 2015 that he and Katie had been seeing each other for two years in private.

However, in the last few months, Katie took her secretive relationship with Jamie to the public. Or rather, she and Jamie just stopped hiding it in the same way that they used to. Katie was formerly married to Tom Cruise, whom she split with over five years ago. Allegedly, it had something to do with Tom’s involvement with the Church Of Scientology, however, this claim hasn’t been substantiated by legitimate news sources.

Moreover, Jamie Foxx once said in an interview that Tom was nothing but a consummate professional in the way that he chose to deal with Katie and his divorce proceedings.

Reportedly, Tom Cruise, while having somewhat of a controversial career ever since he jumped on Oprah Winfrey’s couch on live television, is one of the easiest stars to work within Hollywood.
