According to Fox News, Charlize Theron and Brad Pitt are officially dating, just a couple of years after Brad and his ex-wife, Angelina Jolie, announced they were splitting up after following a few years of marriage. Previously, Charlize was actually hooked up with actor Sean Penn.
Oddly enough, it turns out the aforementioned relationship between Theron and Penn is how the actress and Brad actually met. A source who spoke with The Sun said Pitt and the Oscar-winning actress have been dating for almost a year now. Moreover, they’ve known each other for a while due to Brad’s friendship with Penn, the person added.
Reportedly, spectators claim Brad, 55, and Charlize, 43, looked pretty comfortable together at the screening of If Beale Could Talk. They were also an honored guest at an event in LA’s Chateau Marmont. An insider said to the publication that Brad changed his outfit after the Chateau and then joined Charlize afterward for a drink.
Brad apparently stuck to mineral water while Charlize chose to have a mixed vodka drink. The insider described their interaction as “ridiculously touchy-feely,” with Brad cradling her back, as well as even winking at her.
As it was previously reported, Brad said in May 2017 that he had stopped drinking and began getting therapy amid news of his divorce from second wife, Angelina Jolie. The 43-year-old actress, Jolie, and Pitt settled their dispute with a custody agreement in November of 2018.
This was a bit of a surprise at the time because it appeared as though Jolie and Pitt would bitterly fight in a court of law for a while. According to multiple reports, in the preceding two years before their agreement, the two stars fought in court and it looked like with no end in sight.
The last time Charlize was in a romance was with the 58-year-old actor, Sean Penn, but they called off their engagement back in June of 2015. Penn has kept largely to himself in the last few years, however, he did appear on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert and stirred up a bit of controversy while discussing writing.
