Bimbo Akintola Goes Down The Memory Lane

Veteran Nollywood actress Bimbo Akintola, recently went down memory lane, sharing a scene from as far back as her first movie role in the classic movie, Owo Blow. The 93 Days actress, who kicked off her acting career with a role in the movie directed by ace filmmaker, Tade Ogidan, launched the throwback fever in an Instagram post.

While revealing that the movie gave her first acting role, the talented actress gushed over the feat of starting in such fashion in a career that is close to three decades already.

Also produced by Tade Ogidan, the Yoruba movie also featured Lanre Balogun, Femi Adebayo, and Kayode Odumosu aka Pa Kasumu among other notable stars.

On her own, the actress, who has seamlessly played roles in both the Yoruba and English sections of Nollywood, has gone on to act in several movies including 93 Days which was based on the dreaded Ebola disease in Nigeria and in which she acted the role of the late heroine, Dr. Adadevoh Ameyo.
