Bill Cosby is in prison and according to a new statement by his spokesperson Andrew Wyatt, his family hasn’t come to visit him. The news is trending as when Bill Cosby was publicly accused of sexually assaulting more than 60 women, went on trial, and was convicted on three counts of indecent aggravated assault, then was sentenced to 3-10 years in prison, his wife Camille supported him each step of the way. Camille also made statements that what happened to Bill Cosby was mob justice. During his trial, it appeared that Camille Cosby was going to “stand by her man.”

Now, reports are surfacing saying she and other family members haven’t even visited Bill Cosby at Sci Phoenix Prison. Recent reports also say that Cosby is no longer away from the general population as he was earlier so that he could acclimate to being in prison.

Cosby is 81-years-old, legally blind and according to reports, is being assisted by other inmates. All this while no one in his family has reportedly gone to visit him.

Bill Cosby was sentenced on September 25, 2018.

While many are assuming that Bill Cosby’s family is done with him and that’s why they haven’t visited, Cosby’s spokesperson states that there is a different reason for their absence.

According to the report, Bill Cosby doesn’t want them to visit as it will cause a media spectacle.

Though Sci Phoenix Prison is located approximately twenty minutes from the family’s residence, no one has made the trip to see Cosby. It is unclear who is on his visitors’ list.

Not everyone on social media believes the excuse. Some think the family is purposefully distancing themselves from Cosby due to the many allegations and conviction.

While past reports have suggested Camille Cosby was no longer standing by Bill and was going to file for divorce, it appears those reports were false.

Bill Cosby has filed an appeal for his conviction and it’s believed that Camille Cosby is working behind-the-scenes to bring her husband home.
