The premiere for ‘Up North’ movie which was tagged ‘The Grand Durbar’ held yesterday evening of December 16, 2018, and had the presence of the Emirs and the Governor of Bauchi, Mohammed Abubakar in attendance.
The event also hosted an array of notable personalities, dignitaries and celebrities from different works of life came for the grand premiere of Tope Oshin’s directed movie which held at the IMAX cinema, Lekki.
Up North which was shot in Bauchi State, Northern Nigeria, and captures beautiful sceneries from the Northern part of Nigeria, was honoured to have such important dignitaries grace the Durbar. According to the movie’s producer, Editi Effiong, it was indeed an honour to have the support of the Bauchi state government and also have the Emirs and the Governor come all the way down to grace the premiere. Effiong also emphasized on the beauty of the state and looks forward to working with them on future projects; telling stories, breaking boundaries and creating lifetime memories.
